BSim is simple robot simulator for learning and experimenting with behavior-based programming techniques. BSim is a companion learning tool to Robot Programming: A Practical Guide to Behavior-Based Robotics by Joseph L. Jones and Daniel Roth.
Book detailsJoe Jones is a veteran roboticist, inventor, author, and entrepreneur. He is the co-author of Mobile Robots: Inspiration to Implementation, as well as numerous technical articles in the field of robotics. He is one of the inventors of the Roomba® Robotic FloorVac, the first widely adopted consumer robot. He is also cofounder and CTO at Tertill, where he architected the world's first solar-powered garden weeding robot.
Daniel Roth has a master's degree in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a specialization in autonomous robot navigation. He helped with the development of the Roomba® Robotic FloorVac while an intern at iRobot. These days he works to pass on his love for robotics to kids as a coach and mentor for robotics teams competing in the FIRST LEGO League competition. When not playing with robots, he works as a Principal Program Manager at Microsoft on the .NET development platform.
